The Brymbo area encompasses the neighbouring communities of Tan-y-Fron, Vron, Ffrith, Ffrwd, Moss, Southsea, Bwlchgwyn and Pentre Broughton. This whole area is steeped in history and we hope that the web site will become a valuable resource and provide information about the people, industry, heritage and culture of the Brymbo area.
We have recently started an Oral History project with Wrexham County Borough Council. We have already completed a number of interviews and these can be heard from the Oral History Section. If you would like to contribute, or if you would like more information, then we’d love to hear from you.
The Brymbo Heritage Group meets at least once a month, usually in the Sports and Social club or in the Brymbo Conservative club. Details of our meetings are listed on our meetings menu. If you are interested in joining us then please come along!
