The Community Heritage project has supported
Caer Alyn and Holt – joint interpretation of the landscape.
This is an innovative idea using LIDAR surveying technology covering the area from Holt to Caer Alyn which will provide a unique view of its landscape and features that can be used to inform local communities of their hidden heritage. Through arc mapping systems the information can be formatted for exhibitions and displays to rediscover a previously hidden landscape. This has never been carried out in Wrexham before.
Discoveries and results from the Lidar survey will be available later this year.
